AIP download very slow

s Group: Forum Members Posts: 3, Visits: 0	I observe that the download speed of AIP charts from all countries, as well as additional flight guides (e.g. AvioPortolano) has become very slow since some weeks. The AvioPortolana for example with 800 MB downloaded once in 2 or 3 minutes, now it takes nearly 30 minutes. Observed on Mac, iPad and iPhone, all with the latest Skydemon version.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8.2K, Visits: 9.8K	That's strange. I just tried downloading the whole of Avioportolano as you mention, and it took 2 minutes 44 seconds to download the 860mb. Perhaps you were trying to download it at a time of high contention, for example on an AIRAC day when there will be thousands of people all trying to do the same thing.

S Group: Forum Members Posts: 1, Visits: 0	I have a similar issue. When downloading AIP or maps via WiFi (or LAN on my computer) in SkyDemon, it is unbelievably slow (maybe a couple 10 kb/s). If I switch to cellular it works fine. Tried with Windows, Android and iOS. My ISP is Telekom and I have a feeling that it has to do with them. If I set up a hotspot with my phone and connect to it with my tablet, it is fast. If I connect to WiFi with Telekom ISP it is super slow. Tried at 3 different locations (unfortunately all Telekom ISP) with the same result. Browsing, downloading anything else, etc. is fast. It is just SkyDemon where I experience the issues. Any suggestions how I can resolve this?
